Recording deeds of sale, gift, mortgage and title certificates in the register of titles kept by the Registry.

Have the deed prepared — in practice this is done by a lawyer.

Lodge the deed at the Registry with the survey plan and supporting documents.

Pay the registration fees and stamp duty assessed on the transaction.

Collect the registered instrument once it is recorded.
